These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of theDirectory. By using the site, you agree to them. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. Legal information

theDirectory is operated and published by VOID MUSIC GROUP (VOID.AUDIO), a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS) registered under SIREN 992 576 322, with its registered office at 25 Rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France ("VOID", "we", "us").

2. Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern your access to and use of theDirectory and its features. By accessing or using the site, you acknowledge that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site. These Terms are governed by French law.

3. The service

theDirectory is an independent reference directory and research tool for the music distribution, publishing, and label industries. It lets you browse, search, sort, and compare companies, use AI-assisted search, read editorial content, consult community ratings and reviews, and — for businesses — claim or create company listings with optional paid "Pro" features.

theDirectory is an information service. Unless we expressly state otherwise, we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the companies listed, and a listing does not imply any partnership between us and that company.

4. Nature of the information and no advice

Directory data is compiled from public sources, our own research, and submissions from users and companies. Although we work to cross-check it and keep it current, we do not warrant that any information is accurate, complete, or up to date.

Nothing on theDirectory constitutes legal, financial, business, or other professional advice. Ratings and reviews are the personal opinions of the contributors who post them and do not represent the views of VOID. You should carry out your own due diligence before engaging any company listed on the site.

5. Accounts

Some features — such as writing reviews or claiming and managing a listing — require an account, created with an email address and password or via Google sign-in. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your login credentials are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

6. Reviews and user content

When you post a review or other content, it must reflect a genuine, first-hand experience and be honest, lawful, and your own. You must not post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, infringing, or otherwise unlawful, and you must not post fake, undisclosed-incentivized, or manipulated reviews or ratings.

Reviews submitted without an account require email verification, and we may ask for supporting evidence, which is handled confidentially. We operate moderation and may review, decline, edit for formatting, or remove content, and may withhold reviews that breach these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant VOID a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting theDirectory. You confirm that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.

7. Listings, claims, and Pro subscriptions

Businesses may submit a new listing or claim an existing one. Claims are subject to verification, and we may approve, reject, or revoke a claim at our discretion. Claiming or subscribing does not entitle you to alter factual or editorial data about your company or to remove genuine reviews.

Pro subscriptions are optional paid plans — currently Label at €29 per month and Business at €199 per month, excluding applicable taxes — that unlock features such as a verified badge and listing customization. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro features remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices and plan features may change, with notice to existing subscribers, and we may modify, suspend, or withdraw Pro features.

8. Acceptable use

When using theDirectory, you agree not to:

• violate any law or infringe the rights of others;
• post prohibited content or submit fake, undisclosed-incentivized, or manipulated reviews or ratings;
• impersonate any person or company, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise bulk-extract the directory, or use it to build or train a competing product or database, beyond normal browsing and lawful search-engine indexing;
• circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security measures;
• introduce malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems;
• interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure; or
• collect or misuse other users' personal data.

9. Intellectual property

theDirectory and its content — including its design, text, editorial articles, logos, and the selection, arrangement, and structure of the underlying database — are owned by VOID or its licensors and are protected by French and international intellectual-property law, including sui generis database rights. You may not extract or re-use a substantial part of the database without our consent.

Company names, logos, and trademarks shown on theDirectory remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only. Your own user content remains yours, subject to the license described in section 6.

10. Third-party links

theDirectory contains links to third-party websites and services, including those of the companies it lists, which we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices, and you access them at your own risk.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, theDirectory is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that directory data, ratings, or AI-assisted search results will be accurate or complete.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by French law, VOID shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of theDirectory. We are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on directory information, for the acts or omissions of the companies listed, or for events of force majeure. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Personal data

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the GDPR, and French data-protection law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the one in force. Your continued use of theDirectory after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules, any dispute relating to theDirectory falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France. Consumers may also have access to mediation or to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
